When on the Notify Only emergency escalation service, an emergency message arrives at the TracPlus servers and automatically notifies a customer’s nominated emergency contacts (ICE) by text message and email.
If none of the nominated contacts respond to the message to indicate that they have accepted the incident and are handling the situation within 5 minutes, we will continue to send reminders every 5 minutes (unless the device has sent an emergency cancel message).
On the Notify Only plan, our call center staff have no direct involvement in the situation, it is the customer's responsibility to handle their own emergencies and contact local authorities.

When on Notify and Call emergency escalation service, an emergency message arrives at the TracPlus servers and automatically notifies our on-call staff and the customer’s nominated emergency contacts (ICE) by text message and email.
Our team is available 24/7 and will call the customer’s nominated contacts on receiving an alert, to ensure they are aware of the emergency, and have all the relevant information to respond quickly and appropriately (e.g. location data, speed heading, etc.). Our team will give the customer the option of handling the emergency themselves, or offer support throughout as requested (e.g. “I need some help here please”).
