v2track’s hybrid satellite/cellular technology primarily tracks using the cellular data network. This allows for high-rate, 10-second, tracking positions — which significantly reduces your search in an emergency in comparison to an aircraft tracked at 2-3 minute intervals only.
v2track’s two-way messaging allows you to stay connected to your team even when outside of cellular range. Send and receive text messages, and send short emails when required. Messages can also be pre-programmed so that pilots can send important messages from the cockpit with ease.
v2track devices are programmed to trigger automatic alerts for events such as a tail-rotor failure or engine failure at altitude — times when a pilot could not easily press an emergency button.
