TracPlus Global Chief Executive Officer Trevor McIntyre has announced his resignation from his current role at the end of September 2021. At the request of the board of directors, Trevor will remain part of the TracPlus team, taking over a new strategic role with the company after a three-month sabbatical.

Trevor has led TracPlus Global for the past four and a half years, and under his leadership the business has grown over 400% to be a globally recognised market leader in wildfire asset management.

Trevor says he’s proud of the growth he’s seen in both the business and in himself.

“During my time as CEO we’ve focused on delivering a more in-depth service for our customers that ensures their safety of their greatest assets; their people. We’ve built a team at TracPlus of committed individuals who turn up to work every day to help bring other people back home safely from some of the most demanding environments on earth.

“The strategic work that we’ve been progressing over the past six months holds the promise of a transformational step-change for TracPlus and the global wildfire suppression market. This new role will allow me to focus on accelerating the company’s growth through these key projects.

“I’m also excited to take the opportunity to further develop my professional career with more high-growth start-up governance roles and being able to share my experience with the next generation.”

TracPlus’ Chairman, John O’Hara added that Trevor’s vision has been the driving force behind our strategic projects that will bring major benefits to the global wildfire fighting market.

“We have structured Trevor’s new role to commence in the new year after his sabbatical and focus on the areas he loves and where he has unique experience and insights. Trevor in his new role is strongly backed by the board to help the company bring these projects to market over the next few years.”
