Meet Mark Woody, our new North America Business Manager

Few members of the aviation industry have had as illustrious a career as Chief Mark Woody, our new North America Business Manager here at TracPlus.

Mark comes to us with nearly three decades of experience in every corner of aviation, from operations to counterterrorism to disaster management. A former first responder, Mark spent 20 years on active duty and reserve military service, working in special operations and aviation units within the U.S. Army and Navy.

This time as an NCO and firefighter saw Mark on the frontlines of historic domestic and international emergencies and natural disasters including Hurricane Katrina and Guam Super-typhoon Chataan, sparking a passion for safety and emergency management that he carried into his post-military career.

After retiring from military service, Mark moved into the private sector, beginning a series of safety- and compliance-focused roles for the likes of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, CACI, and Solute Consulting. In the years since, he’s honed an impressive skill set encompassing critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, and crisis action planning through consulting and in-house work for clients across the globe.

Throughout his wide-ranging career, Mark has worked with government at the local, state, and federal levels — perhaps most notably with the United States Department of Homeland Security, where he served as a Strategic Planner and Federal Liaison focusing on security in the maritime environment.

Mark’s unparalleled experience in safety and in emergency and disaster preparedness solutions within TracPlus’s key verticals — air, land, and sea — makes him an invaluable asset to both the team and our customers. In his role as North America Business Manager, Mark will head up the U.S. and Canadian arms of TracPlus’s operations, building brand awareness and championing the TracPlus product and service offering for a wide variety of existing and potential clients.

A resident of San Diego, California, Mark volunteers with the San Diego Fire Department Museum and is a member of the San Diego Firefighters Emerald Society. For more information on Mark or TracPlus, please feel free to email
