The TracPlus Board provides a wealth of support and guidance to the business by utilizing the members experience and varied backgrounds. Meeting once a month to discuss business strategy and direction, the Board have a very hands-on approach and an avid interest in our customers and daily operations. 

John Gallaher

Chairman

John has over 35 years of experience in the investment management, commercial and financial services sectors and is Chairman or Director of a wide range of commercial and non-profit organizations.

An Authorised Financial Adviser, Associate Chartered Accountant and Chartered member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, John has been Chairman of TracPlus since 2006.

Pieter Brits

Director

A Partner in a well-known Dunedin Law firm, Pieter has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law.

With a strong governance background and a passion for business and growing companies, Pieter is an active Director, advisor and personal investor in a variety of start-up enterprises.

Alan Townsend

Director

With over 30 years' international experience in sales & marketing, distribution and engineering in a variety of technical and management roles, General Manager, Group Vice President and Managing Director of world-wide operations; Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to TracPlus. Alan has also held numerous New Zealand directorship roles.

Alan McKenzie

Director

A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Fellow Director with over 35 years' experience across a wide range of businesses from new ventures to multi-national companies. Alan?s focus is on structuring business investment, financing, and related taxation issues.

Alan is a director of several client owned businesses, in New Zealand and Overseas.

Richard Williams

Director

Richard has over 30 years of experience in the geospatial technology field working in the UK, US and New Zealand.  He has a PhD in Computer Graphics from the University of Cambridge, and worked at Trimble from 1991 to 2016 in software engineering, product management, marketing and sales roles.  He is currently on the board of Canterbury Angels and a business mentor for Business Mentors NZ and for CDC’s Hi-Growth Launch Programme 2017.
