Cas and Jonesy Make It!!

28 January 2012

Australian adventurers James Castrission and Justin Jones have become the first people to ski unsupported from the edge of the Antarctic to the South Pole and back.

The punishing expedition took 89 days and covered a total distance of just over 2,270 km, with their location continuously monitored by TracPlus, and the all weather Field Tracker 2100 from Solara. Position reports were automatically posted onto the expedition website (www.casandjonesy.com.au) allowing friends and supporters all around the world to monitor their progress.

Congratulations guys, it's an awesome acheivement, and we're proud to have once again been part of your adventures!
