Satamatics 201i

The Satamatics 201 is an extremely compact, single unit, low data rate satellite terminal, designed to operate over INMARSAT satellites using the D+ protocol. With an integral GPS receiver, the Sat201 provides low cost global satellite communications (with the exception of the Poles), requiring only 8-32V DC power to operate.
 
The Sat201 can be user configured with both Distress and Ops Normal buttons and is fully supported by TracPlus. It can transmit as often as every three minutes on the Inmarsat D+ satellite network and can be remotely reconfigured.
 
Rated to IP66, the Sat201 is ideal for maritime environments and has also found favour with aviation customers.
 
The Satamatics 201 has a bottom entry cable, and is best suited for permanent, external installations.The SAT 201 offers direct interfaces to most application environments without the need for additional external circuitry, significantly reducing system integration costs.
 
The SAT 201 is fully programmable to report based on the on-board I/O or based on a prescheduled time.
 
If you do not need battery backup, solar panel power inputs, 4-20mA inputs or analogue output drivers then this is the solution for you.
 
When fitted with the optional MDT860 message head, the functionality of the Sat201 is significantly increased.
